Noisy Students
Hi all,
A very BIG question: How can we DEAL with noisy students?
It is usually said that a successful teacher is the one who maintains a good classroom environment so that learning and teaching may take place. A good relationship between the teacher and the students is the impetus for a positive interraction between the two parties.
Students are human beings with their feelings and emotions. They are going through an age full of enthusiasm and activity. They crave to express themselves before their peers, whatever the means that may be avilable.
However, this does not mean we accept bad behaviour and consider it an aspect of adolescent life . There are remedies to every illness . A tactful teacher is the one who finds the immediate cure for a given behaviour, whatever its seriousness.
Noisy students are not necessarily bad students. If we, teachers, make an effort to understand a given behaviour, the cure may be easy to find. It's up to the teacher to define the seriousness of the behaviour, and try to find the suitable reaction to it.
I hope you face no problems with your students . Respect them and they'll automatically respect you.
Have nice time dear brothers and sisters.

positive noise
Our friends here maybe want to refer to positive noise. In other words, some good students tend to express their excellence and intrest in a given subject in an noisy way. They never mean to disturb but it 's their own way of showing their skills.
Let 's take learning English as a case in point. Some students, those who are learning English for the first time , tend to behave and talk in a funny way, especially when teachers give them a role-playing activity or something like that. Therefore, teachers should treat such behaviour flexibly. That's to say, the teacher should encourage and not penalise the learner. This may be referred to as positive noise in teaching .
Of course, there are other examples where a teacher can experience such positive noise cases like group-work activities, acting etc.
I wish i had conveyed some meaning.Thanks.

Positive Noise
Thank you so much brother
I share your view about positive noise, which is something encouraged in classes, especially language classes.
